As members of the ICF community, we ascribe to the core values of integrity, excellence, collaboration, and respect. The foundation of these values is a shared commitment to diversity, inclusion, belonging and justice.
We place diversity, inclusion, belonging and justice at the forefront of the work we do and Initiatives to take. As we continue the journey toward our vision, we commit ourselves to valuing the unique talents, insights, and experiences that every coach and client brings to the world.
As we celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion, we show our respect for the uniqueness of the life journey of every human being and the life choices of all people. We believe that formal learning communities must recognize their essential role in promoting and addressing these issues for a more inclusive global and local society.
All members of our team share this vision and our community members join our efforts in promoting equality, dignity, and respect. We believe in building the professional rapport with our clients and trainees with an unconditional positive regard as we welcome them as they are in the moment. Through this key attitude and competency, we aim to celebrate diversity and a grateful mindset as we bring contribution to our coaching education sector.
We aim to show our consideration and efforts through the work we do and the initiatives we take to build a diverse, inclusive, equitable and fair community. We truly believe that people of all kinds grow and thrive in collective environments as interconnected entities. As educators in the coaching industry, we hold this responsibility to embody this attitude and mindset, as we combine in our learning experiences and partnerships the reflective practice with a kind, curious and caring approach to facilitate change and development. By supporting our trainees in their self-development, we also help them to hear themselves think, thus increasing their awareness of their own biases, to see how much we all assume and reconfirm our biases on a daily basis. We include neuroscience teaching and psychological theories in our programs to deepen this understanding. As well in our team we leave space for reflection on our blind spots and be aware of opportunities for improvement. We cannot ignore the challenges that many coaches and coaching clients face due to systemic problems in their communities.
Our community members are required to show their commitment around disability, discrimination, diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, while lead by example.
It is the policy of our Academy that we welcome our participants and partners with a great sense of acceptance regardless the race, age, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, or ethnicity. Our trainees and participants should be able to enjoy an environment free of discrimination and harassment. Our academy does not and will not tolerate conduct by any team member, volunteer, collaborator, visitor, or vendor which unreasonably interferes with an individual’s ability to learn in a welcoming environment.
Participants who wish to report discrimination are encouraged to follow the grievance policy outlined on the website and obtained by emailing olga@wegrow.academy as we aim to promptly investigate all claims and reports of inappropriate conduct.
